Encompassing six distinct venues, the University of Texas Performing Arts Center hosts an eclectic array of world-class performances from Baryshnikov to the Gypsy Kings to Japanese Taiko to drummers. Venues include the flagship, 2,800 seat-Bass Concert Hall, the mid-sized Hogg Auditorium, built in 1933, the 700-seat Bates Recital Hall, as well as the more intimate McCullough and Oscar G. Brockett Theatres. The performance centers are located throughout Austin's University of Texas campus.
