Providing interactive educational exhibits for children and their parents, Austin Children's Museum captivates the imaginations of kids of all ages with its "Austin Kiddie Limits" exhibit, the three-level "Funstruction Zone" as well as the innovative "Tinker's Workshop" designed to strengthen children's problem-solving skills. Camps, sleepovers, and workshops are also offered by the museum, as well as special programs, such as the crowd-pleasing story time and weekly science demonstrations. The museum is located in downtown Austin at the Dell Discovery Center, just a block from Shoal Beach.
Open Tue. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Wed. 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.; Sun. noon - 5:00 pm.
Adults and children (2+) $5.50; Children (under 2) $3.50; Children less 1 are Free.
