Celebrating the life and work of a Texas art pioneer, the Elisabet Ney museum is a National Historic Landmark, occupying the small, neo-classical studio where the celebrated sculptress once worked. Commissioned to model such historic figures as Sam Houston and Stephen F. Austin, nearly 50 examples Ms. Ney's work can be seen at her namesake museum. Located in historic Hyde Park, the museum lies just north of Austin's University of Texas campus.
