Taped in the "Live Music Capitol of the World," PBS's Austin City Limits has broadcast live music performances by such legendary artists as B.B. King, Johnny Cash and Stevie Ray Vaughn for over three decades. The show is the longest-running concert music program on American Television, and tickets to tapings are free, difficult to acquire and well-worth the effort. The program's highly-acclaimed broadcasts are filmed in the communications building on the University of Texas campus.
